Rottweiler Male neutered, 11 yrs.
Big Blaze and his son, Little Worf, belonged to a gentleman in Missoula who had raised Rottweilers for years. These two were the only ones he still had when he died suddenly on Thanksgiving Day. No one else in the family was able to take in two very large, older dogs -- even though everyone agrees they are just the nicest dogs anyone could want -- so we're looking for a home where both of them can go. They've always been together, and they are indeed a dynamic duo that needs to remain a team. Big Blaze is definitely elderly, so he might not have many years left, but except for some stiffness in his joints, he appears to be in good health. We have him on Rimadyl to make him more comfortable, and he's doing great here at the shelter.

Rottweiler Male neutered, 6 yrs.
The owner of Little Worf and his father, Big Blaze, died unexpectedly, so this dynamic duo is looking for a retirement home where they can be happy for the rest of their lives. They are true gentle giants (Little Worf is anything but little!) and have always been together. Big Blaze may not have many years left, so it's especially important for Little Worf to be settled into a loving home when that happens. He'll be sad and will need lots of TLC to help him through his grief. But until then, these two guys will be happy, sweet companions who would make life complete for a real Rottweiler lover.
